Cast a Wide Net
We might use that phrase to mean that we are really reaching out and trying to get all that we can. Reaching out to people who are hurting, lost, searching... anyone who will listen: THAT is CASTING A WIDE NET!
Jesus spoke:...
"And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish." (John 21:6)
Often, we need to go after the ones who are overlooked, struggling, harder to see. Let us ALL try to reach out and consider casting a wide net on the right side.
