Let's Get Together
(And It Will Help Us "Get It Together")
What a JOY it is when we meet with members of the Lord's body, the Church, members of "like precious faith."
When we serve the Lord as He has directed, we can enjoy the following benefits.
1) We can be glad to be there in the assembly.
"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord." (Psalm 122:1)
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25)
2) We can be there for one another and be loving.
".. with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love," (Ephesians 4:2)
3) We can reason together from the scriptures, and learn about forgiveness.
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18)
These are only a few. Why not assembly with people who strive to work out their own salvation?
"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,” (Philippians 2:12)
